Its been forever sense I have updated our family blog! Lot’s has happened but we will give you a short update!

Nate: The best father and husband I could ever ask for! Nate always goes out of his way for the family. Loves spending time with the girls, hunting, and camping. Nate has been in an archery league over the winter and has had so much fun! He has been such an amazing support with the salon!

Autumn: I have been busy! Feels like life as a daughter, aunt, sister, wife, MOMMY, business owner, and friend never stops! The salon has grown to much! It's so rewarding sitting back and looking at the growth! There's nothing more special than my baby girls! Watching them grow is amazing! I LOVE to be a mommy!

AddiLynn: Over 2 years old!!! No more bikinis, No more bottles!!! Working on potty training!!!! Is finally sleeping in her own room :) My baby girl is getting big! She loves mickey mouse, princess and the frog, princess (beauty) and the beast!! Addi can count to 12, knows her colors and shapes! The other night when she was saying her prayers... (heavenly father, Mazzi Happy birthday you! My tv amen) Addi is in gymnastics and loving it!

Aspen: 6 months old!!! Scooting around ever where! Laughing and smiling all of the time! Eating and sleeping! Addi loves being a big sister! And Aspen loves the attention!

Miss AddiLynn was playing with her daddy and fell on the fire place. She sliced her head above her right eyebrow. We went to the hospital and she got seven stitches. Addi was so tough about it. Holding her down to get the stitches in was murder.

Addi had a Birthday on September 14Th! She is one years old. I really cant believe a year has came and gone. So much has changed and grown over the last year. I enjoy watching her grow she makes me smile everyday! :) What a true blessing Addi is to our family. Her birthday was a blast!!!! Her Grandma Vella made her the most amazing princess cake ever. It looked absolutely beautiful and tasted even better. Addi had so much fun digging into it. She even shared it with me. I think she got spoiled just a little too much!!!! Well no shes not spoiled she is just loved lots and lots and lots!!!!

Our Baby Girl got an owie!!! She fell off the couch, then she was standing and tried to walk and she fell on herside on a toy. She didnt even cry. A couple hours later she wouldnt stand on her leg so I took her into the ER. They did xrays and she cracked her femur. They put a soft cast on and told me that she would need a hard one on monday! Well when I went in on Monday the Dr. said that she only needed to wear the soft cast for two weeks. We were so excited! She was so strong just like her daddy.

Were did June go???? Time as flown by this summer!!! I feel horrible I haven’t updated in such a long time. So much has happened the last couple months in our family. Our newest addition Maserati is getting HUGE!!!! He is 4 months old and is already 28lbs. We are still in the training process, but he is catching on. Watching Mazzi and Addi together is so much fun. They are already best buds.

Our little AddiLynn is growing up so fast. She is 9 Months 3 weeks and 4 days old today!. 3 weeks ago we went to her 9 month Dr. Appointment. She had grown, but still is our little princess... :)

I dressed her up like a Princess Butterfly! All wrapped up in her Great Grandmas Pearls.... She looked as close to an angel that I could ever imagine an angel looking. We are so blessed to have such a special baby.

AddiLynn started to crawl while we were camping 2 weeks ago. She now walks along the furniture, crawls every where, dances, does patty cake, sings E~I~E~I~O~, blows kisses, gives kisses, gives hugs, has a vocabulary of ma, dad, baby, Hi, HEY, bye, and Huh! She loves to tell stories and laughs at everything. Her favorite thing is to crawl over to Mazzi and pinch his cheeks when he is sleeping then turn around and laugh as he gets up. I LOVE when I came home she says "MA!" holds her arms out for me to take her and gives me the biggest hug and sloppy kiss ever... It melts my heart.
I am so thankful that Heavenly Father trusted us enough to take care of her. She is everything to me, and I find myself thinking about her ALL DAY!!!! Thank you for the memories little princess, and for all the loves!!!!

Today is mu Grandmas birthday! It has been four days sense she passed away. I miss her so much! My Grandma was a large impact on my life. She raised me for a few years. She was always there when I needed her the most. I feel that why it was so hard for me with Chevy dieing is I didn't have her there to hold my hand. Grandma always had a way about making me feel good. She was always happy and she cared so much about others. Grandma taught me to be a better person. She taught me to LOVE, and FORGIVE!!!! Thank you grams for all the memories and for watching over my family. When grams was dieing she told me that she would send me a butterfly to let me know how pretty heaven was. Over the last four years she has sent me millions. thank you so much Grandma.... Thank you for watching over my Chevy and keeping him safe. Give him a big kiss for me... The Easter Bunny stopped by while we were on the Turkey hunt... AddiLynn had to wait for mommy to come back from the morning hunt before she could open her basket. All the kids waited so patiently. We had a Easter egg hunt and Addi was sooooo tired when I was hiding the eggs she feel asleep. I couldn't get her to wake up so we set her in her basket while she was sleeping.... I had a turkey hunt last week and Addi had so much fun camping with her grandma, grandpa, auntie, cousins, mommy, and daddy!!!! Unfortunately we didn't get a Turkey, but we did have the time of our life's! Without a care in the world we hung out as a family alllllll week long.... Thanks for the Memories..... I do have to say that it was different without our little Chevy being there with us. We still miss him so much.

We went to AddiLynn’s 6 month check up last week... She is growing up so fast!

She smiles at everything and enjoys to watch TV. Addi loves to play with dogs and laughs when ever they are around. I think that she still remembers Chevy and looks for him from time to time. As we all do. Addi sleeps so good in the night, and takes naps in the day. She loves to look at things and plays with her hands. Addi enjoys to twirl hair in her fingers and play with your jewelry.
I enjoy watching her grow and am thankful to have her as part of our life.

My Best Friend...

I married my Best Friend Six years ago on March 21. I am so grateful for all the blessing we get to share together and for the love that we hold.
I cant believe how fast time flies. Its already been six years. In the past six years together we have done so much and grown so close. Our family has grown so much. Bringing material and spiritual things to our lives. We went through death, and birth together. We have made it this far. I am so grateful for my husband and for our family. I look forward to all that is to come.

I took Chevy in for an ear surgery yesterday March 5, 2009. Not knowing that it was going to be his last day alive. Chevy passed away this morning March 6, 2009 at
1am. Chevy went in for the surgery. The Dr. called and told me everything went fine that he woke up and that they took care of his ears. That out of the 150 ears she has worked on his by far was the worst. That she felt confident that they were taken care of. She told me that I could pick him up tomorrow afternoon. i hung up the phone and immediately told Nate the good news. Not 20 min later the phone rang again. i saw it was the Doctor and my heart stopped. I immediately knew something was wrong. She was crying on the other line and told me that Chevy had a heart attack. That the did CPR and that he is trying to come back. They told me they didn’t know for how long and that i could come up and say good bye. For those of you that know me. Chevy, (really without lying) is my first born. I would give my right hand for Chevy. I know he is a dog and that its not normal to feel that way. But he filled my empty wholes he made me complete. He took my pain away and he helped me to smile. We immediately drove up to Salt Lake to the clinic. It was impossible for Nate to watch this or to see him so he waited in the car. Walking in there alone to see my baby lying on a surgical table was just horrible. I know that you all are going to die when you read this but I did imagine it if it were my baby girl AddiLynn. What does a mom do when her baby is so helpless? He was lying on his side he had oxygen in and all kinds of monitors on. Chevy looked like he was sleeping. (And he was) I had the opportunity to hold him for 5 hours. After making the choise to keep him on the machines for the night hoping for a miracle, after saying my good byes We went home. When we got home Nate and I said a prayer and for the first time praying for Chevy that night, I told God that if it was his time to please take him peacefully and to let him know that I was so sorry and that I love him. Almost immediately after the prayer I felt peace I knew that was what was going to happen. Laying in bed holding his pillow I awaited the phone call. Around 10-15 min before my phone rang I felt a piece of me leave my body! I felt Chevy go home. As the tears ran down my check I prayed and said, thank you. Thank you for letting me hold on to him and thank you for loving him. I know that he is happy! That Chevy will never have ear problems again. The last four years with my little guy were perfect. They were amazing and I a m so thankful for them. Life is so short and Chevy taught me to live it and to stay strong. Chevy was so strong up to his last breath. I know that it will be so hard and difficult for me on all of the today, today steps I have to take. But inside I will always know that I loved him and that he was in the best hands. I get to start life in a different way today. I get to change my schedule and I get to be strong. I want my Chevy to eat my popsicles to sit on my lap to snore in my ear and to make AddiLynn Laugh. I was looking forward for AddiLynn to be able to grow up with such an awesome big brother. I am going to make Chevy a book. Dear Dr. Shanchez and Staff,

Im writing this letter on behalf of Chevy Spencer and his family. We woke up Thursday March 5, 2009 as a normal day. When my alarm went off to go get ready I actually turned it off and chose to stay in bed and cuddle with Chevy for an extra 20 min instead of taking a shower. Not knowing that would be my last cuddle. Chevy would hug me with his little right paw over my neck when he didn’t want me awake. When I finally got up he rolled over and hugged his daddy while I attended to the baby and got my self ready to come up to Salt Lake City. When we told Chevy lets go buy, buy he jumped out of bed ran down the stairs. He didn’t even go out to the bathroom for very long so he can hurry in the car. Chevy loved going buy buy with me. We would go to the salon after hours and clean it or do book work and Chevy always at my side. Yesterday taught me a lot. It taught me to not take a minute for granted that anything can change in a split second. I am so grateful for the time that we had Chevy in our family. He was a true blessing to me. Chevy taught me a lot about life, and love. He taught me to forgive and to smile. Chevy has been suffering form these ear infections sense he was 6wks old. Not having the proper medical attention was so difficult. All I ever wanted was for them to be better. Watching him itch his ears tell the bled and hearing him cry was so heart breaking. When I was finally referred to your clinic I was ecstatic. Finally my baby boy could be whole again. Setting money aside each month to make it possible was my personal goal. As Chevys mom I wanted the best for him. I want him happy, I want him to play, I want him to lay on side and not have it hurt, and I want him to smell good. All of these things are what I was looking forward to. When I asked him if her wanted the surgery I got a high five and a kiss on the check. So I do think he wanted it. Yesterday morning Chevy wasn’t quite himself. I should have paid attention to signs. I am so sorry that we had to put your team through such a ruff day at work. I know that caring for animals would be a rewarding yet challenging job. And we thank you for making it possible. You have the opportunity to tough millions of life’s. And what a blessing that is. On my drive home I thought to myself if he doesn’t make it then I will know that he would be healthy in an other place. I never once have thought that. So I told myself to shut up. I even stopped the car and almost turned around to pick him up. Now I know when they say mothers have intuition. Although I have no regrets. I want to thank you for taking Chevy in your arms. I will never know how hard it was to call me with the horrible news. And I apologize for my reaction. Thank you so much for letting me hold Chevy for 5hours. I really needed that. I got to feel Chevy’s spirit. I did know the whole time it wasn’t in him that it was with me. Thank you for showing me that you really cared. I saw your emotion in your eyes I saw you hurt and your pain. I have never had a vet reach over and kiss my baby boy like I would. Thank you for comforting me thank you for making me feel safe thank you for teaching me to let go. When we got home my husband and I said a prayer and for the first time of praying for Chevy that night I told God that if it was his time to please take him peacefully and to let him know that I was so sorry and that I love him. Lately we have had the opportunity to watch our cute little cousin Kyler. They love each other so much. When Kip dropped Kyler off Addi was sleeping. I told Kyler to hang out with me because Addi was sleeping. I went to unload the dish washer and I looked over at the couch. Kyler got on the couch and put the blanket over him he closed his eyes and laid down by Addi. He did wake Addi up but I didn’t care because that was so cute of kyler to lay down with Addi. I love watching the two of them together. Kyler loves to share his binky with Addi and always makes sure that she has hers. Hes looking out for her already. They are going to be great friends...

Week at the Doctors... YIKES!!!!

Its been a week of doctors for our family. I have endometriosis and had to have some reconstructive surgery as long with cysts removal on Tuesday. AddiLynn got to go on an elevator for the first time while dropping me off. Then Chevy had surgery one Wednesday to remove a few warts on his belly! On Thursday Addi had her 4 month check up along with her shots. One busy week I would have to say. I'm glad it is over and we made it out just fine. We are all recovering from the pain. Chevy and I were a little loopy for a few days from the Anastasia. But Chevy got me for sure. He milked his out his surgery, what a baby he is! Addi is full of loves and smiles, laughing constantly. We are enjoying watching her grow. What a blessing it is!

AddiLynn is so much fun to dress up and take out. I cant get enough!!!! What a beautiful baby girl she is. This dress was a gift from the girls at the salon. I really cant beleive its already time for her to fit into it. I was so excited to put it on her and show her off at church.

We took Addi to Cabela's to see Santa!! They have the best looking Santa and to make it even better its FREE! Addi was really happy! She told Santa that she wants some toys that make noise and warm clothes for the winter. Santa's little elves said that Addi has been a perfect little angel this year and all of her Christmas wishes will come true...

AddiLynn was blessed on Sunday December 7th. She was 2 months and 3 weeks old. Nate was so nervous that she was going to cry and scream the whole time. And guess what she didn’t she was an absolute angel dressed up in her elegant gown! She let her daddy give her such wonderful and thoughtful blessings. I cant even express and explain in words how spiritual that day was. There is nothing like hearing your own husband stand in front of the chapel with all of our friends and family and most importantly our heavenly father and give his daughter such a precious blessing.

I am so thankful for all of my many blessings that the lord has blessed me with over my life. I am Thankful for my family and the love that they have shown me, for teaching me the gospel and holding me accountable. I could not have picked a better family, and for Heavenly Father guiding me to Nate. What a blessing it is to be married into such a wonderful family. I am so grateful that we have the gospel and that we live it each day. I look around at the world and could not imagine not knowing the truth. I thank the lord each day for the opportunity to have a job and for my home and all of the things we hold so close. Most importantly, I am so grateful and thankful for the amazing opportunity we have to raise a family here on earth. I never imagined it being this wonderful. AddiLynn is my pride and joy. I live everyday for her. I want nothing but the best for her and I want her to know that I love her so much. She brought such a peaceful feeling to our home. I know for a fact that she was greeted at the gates by all of my family that has all ready passed! They all had a turn to add there special touch. I have to tell you in my eyes she is absolutely perfect, and I couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you for all of your love and support with AddiLynn and our little family. To all of you that were a part of this wonderful day thank you for sharing it with us.

AddiLynn was able to wear the same dress I was blessed in 25 years ago. My grandmother saved it in a box for me to use one day. She looked so beautiful in it. As I was getting her ready I was thinking to myself. There is only 3 times that I get to dress her up in a beautiful white gown. Her blessing, her baptism, and her wedding day. I pray that I get that opportunity. I know its only going to get harder as she grows. But in my eyes she will always be my little baby angel, my butterfly!

We had Addis 2 month appointment today it was so hard to see her get her shots. She did really good and didn't even cry untell they were over with. Then she let me rock her to sleep (shes tough like her daddy). Im not a fan of needles to I think it was a lot harder for me to watch.
Addi is 8lbs 9oz and 21" long today. She is growing up so fast I can't believe how time goes by. It makes me so sad...

If its not for BYU is for Dallas Cowboys. This game was UTAH against TCU. Grandpa was a happy camper when UTAH won. (13-10) We had to put AddiLynn in her jersey to tease her grandpa that BYU was better. She has lots of fun at our football parties. We have a little "Cheerleader" on the way...

Addi's First day at work with her mommy was when she was only 6 days old.
Over the last few weeks she has met all of those common voices she heard in my tummy and has heard all the common noises. Addi does well at the salon it feels like home I'm sure. All of the girls love playing with her and are so happy she is here. I had some laundry to help fold on a busy salon afternoon. I put Addi in the basket and everyone commented on my multi tasking skills. I responded with "Shes in training" It wont be long tell Addi is helping out by painting her nails, climbing in the pedicure chairs, and playing hide in go seek.
But for know I'm going to enjoy caring her in the laundry basket and rocking her in my arms!

My Grandma Margie Ruth, (my best friend) passed away 3yrs ago today. Grandma was a large part of my life. She has been there with me though all of my tough times, happy times, sad times, and loving times. Grandma always had an open heart and open hands. There isn't a day that goes by that i don't think of her and wish that she was with us. She was an amazing women! My ideal, my inspiration and my role model. We named Addi after her (AddiLynn "Ruth" Spencer ) they have twinner middle names... "I love you Grandma and miss you very much. Thank you for helping create such a beautiful baby girl for us to enjoy."

AddiLynn's very first Halloween!! when my grandma was sick she asked "How am I ever going to tell you how beautiful Heaven is?" She said I will send you a butterfly! Over the last 3 years as a family we have had butterfly's visit us at the most difficult times, happiest times, and lonely times. The best and most beautiful butterfly that has been sent from above is our little angle "AddiLynn. We had her dress up as a butterfly for Halloween. Amanda's company "Mumzeys" made her the cutest tutu in the world. Addi looked beautiful, like always...

Nate and I have been married for 5 years now. Im not sure where the last 5 years have gone. It's all happened so fast for me. I cant believe how the last 5 weeks of being pregnant felt like forever. Compared to these last 5 weeks of having my little baby "Addi" in my arms. I started back to work this week. I'm in the salon 4 days a week. And I miss her so much... I run out of the salon as fast as I can to be with her. She is such an angel. Thanks to all of you that helped me decide that it was really OK for me to be a mom. (And for your examples.) I owe a special "Thank you" to my favorite sister in laws. We were so scared to make the move and now I am so thankful to have her. Its really going to be a huge challenge balancing my baby girl, Chevy, Nate, and the Salon. But I'm sure I'll learn fast. In fact as we speak Chevy has my right leg and Addi has my left with her head on his back. We can make anything work. They love each other already

We are proud to announce the birth of AddiLynn Ruth Spencer! Addi was born at 5:08 am Sunday morning September 14, 2008!!!! She was 5pds 12oz 18 inches long. Addi was born with lots of dark hair, her mommy’s big oval eyes, cute little toes and daddy’s nose, lips, and ears.

We started the labor process around 12pm Friday afternoon while I was working at the salon. We went to the hospital around 6pm. I was only dilated to a 2. (Been that way for 4weeks) We were sent home by 8pm. And do I have to tell you that was the longest night of my life. I took 3 baths and tossed and turned all night. Don’t you weary I woke up Saturday morning with the same contractions. I went to work and worked all day. By Saturday afternoon they began 2min apart. We got to the hospital around 8pm,I was only at a 3 by this point and we were sent home one last time. I told Nate that we were going to have this baby at home cause I wasn’t going back to be sent home again. They gave me a shot for the pain so when I got home I fell right a sleep. When I woke up around 10:30pm I noticed my pants were wet. “Yep finally my water broke.” Come to find out I wouldn’t dilate because I was working too hard but when I let my body relax it all started. We made it to the hospital around 11:30pm. They started me and by 4:45 I was at a “10” we pushed 7 times and Addi was born at 5:08am. My favorite part about the whole thing was Nate’s smile from ear to ear. What a proud daddy he is. Holding her in my arms I instantly forgot about the whole 9 months of being sick, the horrible headaches, back aches, and the weight gain. It was all worth it every last minute. I would do it all again and have it be 100 times worse to have her in our life’s. Thank you AddiLynn for blessing our family…
